First Visit

Your first visit will consist of a consultation to discuss your goals and reasons for seeking orthodontic treatment. You will meet with one of our fabulous treatment coordinators, Jenna or Lucia, and Dr. Kroboth. We will review any x-rays and notes from your dentist, and take a digital panoramic x-ray, if needed.

Our team will present your diagnosis and recommend treatment options, and develop a plan that best fits your individual needs. We will discuss treatment options and timelines, as well as costs and payment options for any proposed treatments.

Once your treatment plan and financial arrangements have been determined, we will schedule the first series of appointments to place your braces or appliance, and provide you with an estimated timeline for future visits. Your time is just as important to us as it is to you; we are able to start your treatment with records on the same day so you don’t need to miss school or work for an additional appointment.

A “records visit” consists of a digital scan of your mouth with our iTero Element scanner. cephalometric x-ray, facial and intraoral photos.
The iTero scanner has many benefits for our patients such as easier and faster appointment, more accurate digital scan, no bulky impression trays and no more gooey, yucky, uncomfortable molds.
